Biography:

Born in Tucson, Arizona on the 18th of August 1987, Mika Boorem has built up a respectable filmography for a young actress. After she and her family moved to LA, she landed her first role on "Touched by an Angel" (1994) in 1996. She has received several "young artist" nominations.

i have been a huge fan of hers since Mighty Joe Young. And I love Blue Crush and Along Came a Spider and Hearts in Atlantis and Jack Frost and well, all of them!

I liked that she played a little bit of a bratty sister in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. She was following the crowd instead of thinking for herself. Romola Garai, who played her sister in the movie, was the leader, did things her way and didn't follow the mold, so it was nice to see her character change in the end!

Plot:

Sixteen-year-old Lexi leaves home after a fight with her mother, ends up in Portland, OR, and meets Eric. A story of teenage love and life on the streets.
