Thanks Carrie. And yes, just by the looks of the bag, I figure it isn't cheap.

Based on the trailer, it looks like a so-so show, Cece. But I'm watching because Michelle is my boo.
Looks like Michelle is in Colorado based on her IG posts. __________________

Here's hoping Michelle has a hit on her hands with Good Behaviour, although it's a given Downton will be a hard act to follow. cheers for the links Lindsay. xxx

I will still have to get used to that American accent though. I feel like it isn't Michelle when she's not using her real accent.

I know it's an American TV show but still. I'd rather let actors use their real accent when portraying roles but of course where's the challenge in that?

I actually wasn't into period drama and I watched DA mainly because of Dame Maggie. After seeing DA, I watched more period drama and it's one of my favorite TV genres now.

Thanks for that insta!
I've always loved period shows, ever since I discovered Jane Austen at 10 years old! |

Wow! That's a very young age to appreciate period drama. Although I can somewhat relate because I remember at that age, I was already into musicals/plays.

That's quite young to discover Jane Austen, well done Millie. I've always loved costume drama's as far back as I can remember, and the great thing is they're always available on dvd, I've got quite a collection by now. I'm a sucker for musicals as well Lindsay, thanks for the link hun. xxx

It's actually sad how I discovered Jane, but I'm glad I did...I was bullied a lot as a kid so hiding in the library was sort of my thing...and books and so I discovered the Literature section and the rest is history as they say.

What other period dramas do you have in your collection, Carrie?
Millie Mae, awww I'm sorry to hear that. But the great thing about it is that you found a passion for something. __________________

Aww, bless you Millie, I can feel for you because I had some of that at school too, I was lucky to have a great friend Michelle to help me through, and we're still best friends to this day.
I could be here all day listing them all Lindsay, there's some Jane Austen's naturally Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Northanger Abbey, some Dickens, Our Mutual Friend, really good production of that from 1998, Our Mutual Friend (TV Mini-Series 1998) - IMDb Little Dorrit, Bleak House, some Elizabeth Gaskell.... Wives and Daughters, North and South, Cranford, I'll probably think of some more and add them later. Ha just had to list a couple more with Downton alumni in them, Sense and Sensibility with Dan Stevens as Edward, and Dancing on the Edge which starred Matthew Goode, that wasn't based on a classic novel. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dancing-Edg...ng+on+the+edge And of course Michelle was in Cranford. I did see her in The Turn of the Screw, but was too frightened to watch it again. Last edited by carrie.suze; 10-10-2016 at 09:25 AM |
