Mélanie is just wonderful, she's definitely one of my favourite actresses. I'm glad that she's beginning to make more English films so that everyone can get to know her and see just how amazing she is.
She's currently shooting a film with Jake Gyllenhaal, "An Enemy", I still can't really believe that those two are doing a movie together Quote:

Her best performance to date is a French movie called "Dont worry Im Fine" As a younger girl, she played the French bombshell on many of her films - with good cause too, she has distinctive sharp features, in particular her eyes, another accessible film for the international audience which she was in is a film called "Paris" Of the others i've seen: Dikkenek- a Belgian French film, its a film thats way over my head, but the most notable thing about this film is Marion Cotillard is also in this movie. __________________

Im a bit of a Francophile, I studied a little bit of the language, however that being said, I am still not fluent in it
I think the French are not very good at understanding their own language (the structure of it) which is why very few of them speak any other language other than their own or learn any other language Melanie has only spoken English in three of her films: IB - Briefly, Beginners and some other obscure flick Anyway more Melanie:-> Oh another good role of her's: The Violinist in Radu Mihaileneau's'The Concert' __________________

She wrote and directed her own film recently called 'The Adopted' it featured the actor who played Mr Laperditte from Inglourious Basterds, the two characters go out for a while <- there was something not quite right about that __________________
