I hoped she could do it, I expected it but also doubted the academy will be clever enough to give it to her ... but they did and I have to pinch myself to realize I'm not dreaming ... | Please add me. This girl is pure class, she deserved the Oscar so much. She is beautiful, and her dress was amazing. So glad a French actress won for a role in a French movie. Foreign language movies or movies made outside of Hollywood/US are not always given the recognition they deserve, when it comes to the big awards. So happy she won! | I'm so happy she won. 4 awards from the big 5 ain't so bad. Damn SAG eluded her. Her speech was truly amazing. I had faith she would win. I had a feeling for weeks and even though my friends, some of them also Cotillard fangirls, didn't think she would. But I believed. And I was right to.  My favourite part about her win?
