The Magic of Maggie Gyllenhaal

http://www.maggie-gyllenhaal.net/gal...terman_014.jpg

Maggie Gyllenhaal made her debut as full-blown, star in Secretary (2002) in 2002. Her sweet looks and conduct has a deep onscreen subtle style that emerges from the characters she plays, large part or small. Gyllenhaal's career has already shown through her presence on screen.

After attending Columbia University, Gyllenhaal resides in New York City. She earned her BA in English, which gave her theater experience during college in addition to her literary point. In London, she studied briefly at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Focusing on English, her stage experience led her to acting after graduation.

last beautiful girl 09-10-2004 01:00 AM

She is so pretty. I usually don't like short hair on actresses, but her eyes and her smile make the way she wears her hair look absolutely beautiful. :sigh:

I've seen her in Mona Lisa Smile and thought she was awesome.

Interview with Maggie about 'Criminal' also gets into her other upcoming movies. Her next project is a sort of live action/cartoon hybrid where she plays the babysitter of five kids who are attacked by their house.

A couple more interviews about 'Criminal', acting, etc.

This link keeps going to today's CBS News online, which is the wrong page. But if you click on the 'Entertainment' tab at the top of the page, you'll see the interview listed next to Aug 30.

Jake and Maggie will be on Oprah next Wednesday, Sept 29, 3 pm, urging young people to register and vote.

This article is mostly about Jake, but mentions that Maggie will be on the show:

Read about their appearance at the University of Southern California (USC) in the campus paper, The Daily Trojan.

Just check out the site and let me know what you think about it and please let me know if you want to use the pix/scans elsewhere and don't forget to credit us.

mandine 11-01-2004 04:10 PM

Ooh hey there everyone!

i love Maggie! i think she's a great actress (although i think she gets overshadowed coz of her bro)

the first time i saw her was in Donnie Darko and my teacher was like they're brother and sister, i ddint believe him at first but since then i've fallen in love with her.
i thought she was amazing in Mona Lisa Smile and my mum adored her in it too

Lorelai Obsessed~ ITA i think that short hair makes her look older and long hair deffinatley suits her!
