For some reason I thought she was part of the gang but didn't put it together that she could be the niece. That makes sense though.

She still could be part of her dad's gang if she is the niece. Though I'm thinking whether niece or not (and I'm thinking not now but I could be oh so wrong ) she might be part of The Banished Brawlers since she (based on pics we saw) looks like she works at the Bang-A-Rang and the person who owns the BAR is also leader of The Banished Brawlers so...I don't know know though. Which is why I need all the info!

Oh wow. I didn't even know we had all that info. I just remember that the original synopsis said her niece was taken by a gang or something.

This is the synopsis of the series so far:

Katherine Harlow (Abigail Spencer), now going by the name Doris, seeks vengeance against her brother (Rory Cochrane) and the gang who left her for dead when her niece is kidnapped by the same gang.

Well, with this information is little to make assumptions, but let's follow this line:

Katherine lives with her family in this gang (The Banished Brawlers), but for some reason turns against her, even her brother. He finds out and makes a trap to eliminate her and he will think he did it. But I believe that somehow she will be able to escape and will architect her revenge.

Her niece may be one of the weaknesses Katherine has, they may have a good relationship and maybe in her attempt to escape her gang she wanted to save her but as she may be the daughter of this brother he told her lies about her and the kidnapping maybe not in the sense of abduction, but brainwashing (the brother - that is, the niece's father - will tell lies about Katherine, making her niece turn against her), and Katherine's mission is to destroy his brother's gang with him and rescue his niece. And we don't know the timeline either, if the murder attempt against Katherine, until she achieve her revenge has not passed time and we will see her niece as a child and later grown up, which would explain why she is so at ease, freely in the gang environment.

And we have the great similarity between Abigail Spencer and Madison Davenport, they could pass as sisters, mother and daughter and aunt and niece naturally.

Kay - I got my info from here plus the pics we've already seen of Meredith and just kind of put it all together. But I could be wrong about Meredith.

Clarice83 - That could be exactly how it all goes down. That would be really interesting. And I could see them playing aunt and niece.

I can't wait to learn more about Meredith, her relationships, and the show in general. I'm so excited.
