He is very cute. I can't wait to see Alex and Emma. He and Kate Hudson look like they'll play very well off of eachother.
I saw "Old School" in theaters, it wasn't the best movie ever(I only saw it for Luke anyway) , but it was...funny. I can appreciate a little male humor every once in a while. Jen __________________

If you truly want a good laugh (more than you might get from watching the film itself), listen to the OLD SCHOOL commentary tract, w/ Luke, Vince, Will and director Tod Phillips. Luke quite honestly is the funniest one of the group--whenever he has a close-up he tells them they have to quiet down, and he nicknames himself "One-Take Wilson" and has these funny names for his eyes (Trust me, it makes sense when you hear it!)
He has such a witty sense of humor, you'd never guess he's outshine Will Ferrell or Vince Vaughn (who sounds a tad drugged up during the commentary, but makes a funny joke about the kids he had to work with as his children.) Really though, rent the movie and pick the commentary--it will add a whole 'nother level to your Luke admiration. Rian __________________

I didn't find the movie all that funny but I'll have to check out the audio commentary, commentaries for films like this are usually the best ones. Luke can be really funny in interviews but you can tell that sometimes he holds back because he seems shy on camera.

An Article:By NANCY MILLS
SPECIAL TO THE NY DAILY NEWS HOLLYWOOD - Luke Wilson has become Hollywood's go-to guy for romance - even though he's still known as Owen Wilson's younger brother. Consider his leading ladies. Reese Witherspoon fell for him in "Legally Blonde," and the sparks keep flying in the sequel, due July 2. "This time, Reese goes to Washington and gets involved in an animal-rights case," Wilson says, "and we're progressing toward the altar." Cameron Diaz hooked up with him in "Charlie's Angels," also starring former real-life girlfriend Drew Barrymore. In "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," out June 27, he says, "We're moving in together." Kate Hudson shares top billing with Wilson in "Alex & Emma," in theaters Friday. Three movies in three weeks. And July 25, he's in "Masked and Anonymous," a movie starring Bob Dylan, directed by Larry Charles, a writer-producer on "Seinfeld." "I have friends call and say, 'I saw a couple of your trailers,'" Wilson says in his Texas drawl. "You get the feeling that you're annoying people by being in so many movies." In "Alex & Emma," Wilson plays Alex Sheldon, a writer in trouble with loan sharks. If he can complete his next novel in 30 days, he can pay off his debt, but he has writer's block. When he hires Emma, an outspoken stenographer, she changes his book and his life. "Alex & Emma" director Rob Reiner says he had seen Wilson playing only a boyfriend, never a leading man. So he gave him the Dick Van Dyke treatment. "He's attractive and sexy and has a laid-back sense of humor," Reiner says. But "you've got to push a Jew through a goy [non-Jew] to get something interesting," he says. "My dad [Carl Reiner] did it with Dick Van Dyke." Luke Wilson arrived in Hollywood seven years ago with "Bottle Rocket," a low-budget film that big brother Owen ("Meet the Parents," "Rushmore") co-wrote with his buddy Wes Anderson, who also directed. Ever since, Luke has been content to hang back and let his career come to him. "I'm not good at pushing things," he says. Home in Dallas, where his father ran the local PBS station and his mother was a photographer, he was the youngest of three boys. "Sometimes I didn't even have to make friends," he recalls. "I could just be friends with my brothers' friends." Even his love life has been reactive. "I went to an all-boys school [St. Marks Academy] and just had brothers, so I was awkward with girls," he says. "I dated girls who singled me out and forced me to talk to them." But he has recently had a transformation. "As much as I'm the younger brother, I'm an adult now," he says, "and I've been in this business for eight years. I might as well start to try to do things I admire in other people, like Clint Eastwood directing 'Play Misty for Me' and Robert Duvall writing and directing 'The Apostle.'" Wilson has written himself a flashy part - a fast-talking hustler - in "The Wendell Baker Story," which he will co-direct this fall with his oldest brother, Andrew, a documentary filmmaker. "I look up to Owen in terms of his work," Luke says, "but in terms of a game of Ping-Pong, the competition is high." The Wilsons used to share a house in Los Angeles, but Luke recently bought his own place. "I still see these guys all the time, every day," he says. "I live in the same neighborhood. But I like to spend some time on my own." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rian __________________

He wasn't on Letterman but he is going to be on tomorrow.
In fact he's scheduled to be on a whole slew of shows tomorrow (Thursday the 26th) starting with The View. Then he's going to be on Letterman and then Last Call with Carson Daly. __________________

Yeah, he wasn't on The View but he was really great on Letterman and Last Call. He got a really big laugh on Letterman when he said that he was such a bad student that he was disapointed when he found out that he didn't have dyslexia.
I just got the July issue of Biography with Luke on the cover and, goodness gracious, the man is so handsome in the magazine! My favorite part of the article was this: Quote:

Here's the cover of Biography, he so good-looking:
I finally saw Alex and Emma and Luke was so great in it! He was funny and sweet in all the right places. I think my favorite scene is the flamenco dance scene, Luke was just hilarious in that scene. __________________

Alex and Emma was a really sweet movie. Kate really cracked me up in the book-within-the-movie scenes when she had all those different accents.
I went to see Legally Blonde 2 today and it was such a fun movie. Luke only had a supporting role but there were enough scenes to keep Luke fans and Elle/Emmett fans happy. He was so sweet as Emmett and Luke did this cute Jimmy Stewart impersonation that Elle thought sounded more like Sean Connery Here are a few pics of Luke in the movie that I got from the Reese Witherspoon board: __________________

He was really adorable in the movie. I really liked that his character Emmett gave Elle a snowglobe with a little Elle and Emmett in it.
