Rupert Everett Appreciation Space #1

Hi,

I'm not sure whether anyone here knows and/or likes Rupert Everett, but I thought I might open up a new thread about him. I really like him. He's a terrific actor!!!

That scene at the restaurant where he gets everybody singing...just about the funniest thing I ever saw.

Personally,I think Rupert would make a fantastic James Bond!

I've preordered it, but it hasn't been released on DVD in Germany yet. So I have to wait.
Is he a good Sherlock Holmes???
I've seen a lot of really bad ones and I hope he plays him realistically.

Yes, that's one of my favorite Rupert movies ever!!!
I loved the scene in the restaurant.
But I also loved how he played along with being "Julia's" fiancée. And it some scenes he acted "so gay". It was hilarious!!!

I thought he was fantastic in the role, one of the best Sherlocks IMO.

Well, then I'm really looking forward to seeing Rupert in the movie . The DVD arrived today and I'm so happy now!!!

I even got the LP "Generation of loneliness" from 1987 by Rupert Everett. I'm curious how good he can sing. Well, I've listened to him singing in "My Best Friend's Wedding" and in "The Importance Of Being Earnest" and his voice sounded really good.

Ohh, has anyone seen the Robbie Williams Live Concert "Swing While You're Winning" (I'm not sure about the exact title)??? One song was a duet of Robbie and Rupert. Has anyone had the chance to listen to the song??? If so, what was it like???

I've seen the movie and it was breathtaking good!!! He really played Sherlock Holmes convincingly!!! I don't really know what to say. He was so good!!! And he had his funny moments too, for instance when he dressed up with this awful beard and he talked in French. Watson didn't even recognise him . Ian Hart was good too, but Rupert was even better!!! I LOVE RUPERT!!!

Has anyone seen the movies "Unconditional Love" or "Les liaisons dangereuses" yet??? If so, are they any good???

I've had the chance to recently watch the movie "Unconditional Love", starring Kathy Bates, Rupert Everett, Dan Aykroyd, etc and I have to say that the movie is so damn good and funny. Unbelievable!!!
Have you guys seen the movie yet???

What are your favorite Rupert Everett movies???

I like
My Best Friends Wedding
Unconditional Love
The Importance Of Being Earnest
Another Country

And I have found a few new photos I could post here. Is anyone interested???
And did you know that Rupert was rent boy in the early 80's???
And that he was addicted to drugs (heroin) during that time???
It's good to see that he got past that!!!
