| Laura Linney Appreciation Thread I realised there was a thread missing in this forum - an Appreciation Thread for Laura Linney She's got two new movies out in the form of Kinsey and PS and has a genuine shot at another possible Oscar nomination. | She won her first Emmy for a telemovie called "Wild Iris" very dark tale in which she plays an alcoholic single mother. IMDB's tagline for it is: "A woman and her teenage son move back in with her mother to work together in the family bridal business." A lot of people thought she and Gena Rowlands (who plays her mother in it) would do a split at the Emmys, but in the end it didn't happen  Shall visit the thread later Gotta love Topher *sigh* | |||

Yeah I checked to see if there were any threads, but none came up  Life of David Gale had its premiere on pay-tv here in Australia tonight - what a great cast, pity that the film got totally panned by the critics - it wasn't that bad a film either.
