Thank you so much for the pics! I am so jealous you got to see those in person, especially the green dress from atonement! I did see her and others costumes at the El Capitan when I saw Dead Man's Chest there a few years ago!

lara, FIT stands for Fashion Institute of Technology, which is a fashion school here in NYC. They have their own museum similar to FIDM.

xiggy, it's odd, i never noticed the belt thing til i saw it on the mannequin.

but, still...the dress looks STUNNING on her.

I saw DMC at the El Cap as well... but we didn't know there were more costumes downstairs!!

so I didn't get to see Elizabeth's costumes.

Oh, and I learned that the "Dress" is actually a top and skirt. Yes, it's actually two pieces.. THey did it that way since the laser cut at the front kept breaking suring a 'certain' scene and it was the easiest to have it a single piece to change rather than the entire ensemble.
