This is a thread to celebrate the talented musician/actor Jonathan Jackson. Be it in film or television roles or on music albums, we appreciate him!

Biography: A resident of Washington state, Jonathan gave serious thought to an acting career following a family visit to Universal Studios Hollywood in 1991. His older brother, Richard, made the first move to Los Angeles in pursuit of a performing career, and Jonathan and his mother soon followed. Jonathan got a few commercials under his belt before he was chosen, from several hundred young hopefuls, for the sought-after role of Lucky Spencer. His first airdate was October 29, 1993.

After leaving the soap in 1999, Jackson was cast in a variety of films. At one point, he was considered the favorite to play Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars films. He has played son to Sissy Spacek, William Hurt, Treat Williams, JoBeth Williams, Barbara Hershey and Judy Davis, and romantic interest to Alexis Bledel, Carly Pope, Erika Christensen, Romolai Garai and Agnes Bruckner. He has also played brother to Brian Austin Green and best friend to Cillian Murphy and Nick Stahl, and has also shared the screen with Al Pacino, David Arquette and Ben Kingsley. He was also cast in Walden Media's "The Dark is Rising" but his scenes were cut before the film was released.

Jackson's other abiding passion has been his music. He has been the lead singer and guitarist in a number of bands, most recently for Enation. Jonathan first sang his own work on "General Hospital" and his music has since been featured in a number of his movies. (credit to anonymous posters at IMDb for writing his bios)

Personal Life:
Jonathan is a vegetarian, and a devout Christian. He is married to Lisa Vultiaggo (also of GH), they have two children, Caleb and Adora. He is the lead singer for the band Enation, which his brother Richard is also a member of.

More fans! So, what's everyone's favourite role of Jonathan's? I think my two favourites are Tuck Everlasting and Venom

My favorite role of his was Lucky Spencer on GH, but I also like him in Camp Nowhere, Tuck Everlasting, and Riding the Bullet. As a Boy Meets World fan growing up I enjoyed his guest stint there even if he was coming between Cory and Topanga. I love watching him in Camp Nowhere, that movie also has young Andrew Keegan and Jessica Alba.

The pic in the OP is his IMDb profile pic, it's been up there for a while. His most recent role is in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
He was cast as The Walker in the movie The Seeker: The Dark is Rising last year but his scenes got cut. Before that, he was taking time off from acting roles to record with his band.

Here's the trailer for his latest movie, Kalamity, a thriller which is supposed to come out this year.

It's funny to me that his co-star is Nick Stahl, because I always thought he looked like Jonathan.
