Hope the new thread title is cool with everyone. I was gonna use the "baby face" quote from The Stinger, but considering one of the hot topics on the last thread was the "Permission to come aboard?" quote, I thought it was fitting for the thread title.

If there are any other links to be added to the first post (MS, I was gonna put a link to your vid page, but thought I'd check if you wanted me to before I went and did it), or anyone who wants to be added to the Ladybugs list, then just lemme know.

I haven't watched The Dark Crystal in ages. Have the DVD. I bought it for my hubby a couple years ago for Christmas. It was one of his fave movies as a kid, and of course he still loves it, coz it's a totally awesome movie.

OMG I know, he was being a complete dope wanting to leave sQ for some girl he didn't even really know. I love the scene where he's packing his stuff, and Tony's trying to convince him he's nuts. He says something like, "Put a pillow in your lap, it'll muffle the voices."

Yup, still wanting to run my fingers through it. It's a good length for that in that pic.

I haven't ever heard their standup stuff, but I can just imagine what they'd be like. It's kind of strange to think of them being obscene, considering the characters they played were so nice, if that makes any sense. Speaking of Dave Coulier, I was reading an interview with Lori Loughlin recently (to do with her new show) and she was talking about how hilarious everyone on FH had thought it was when they found out that Alanis wrote You Oughta Know about Dave Coulier! I had no idea!!!

No, I don't think 'dope' quite fits right. Then again, maybe... You'd have to be pretty head over heels in love to do something crazy like that. Come to think of it, I may have done something like that in my younger years. Junior high. My sister said I had a different crush every week.

BJ, now how did I know you'd like the thread title?

I'm hoping we get Summerland down here sometime soon. The Aussie guy on it, Ryan Kwanten, the used to be on a soapie here and I loved his character, so I really wanna see Summerland.

MS, I've gone ahead and added the link, and added you to the LB List.

I dunno that Lucas was head over heels in love with her. I don't think he knew what he was thinking, but as Tony pointed out, he obviously wasn't thinking with his brain.

Alanis dated Dave Coulier (aka Uncle Joey on Full House) and apparently he's the one she wrote You Oughta Know about. I always felt sorry for whoever it was she'd written it about, considering it's not exactly a friendly, happy song, (to say the least). I was stunned to find out that it was about Uncle Joey!!!

I'm working on a new wp at the moment. It's a TYTT wp....Casey and Helen.

MS, I just downloaded your Listen To Your Heart vid and OMG it's awesome!!!! The scenes you used, and how you arranged them so they related to the song....it was all perfect!

Yeah, that's one of my fave scenes from the movie. It's just so wrong, because she's married and he's got a girlfriend, but I still can't help but love Helen and Casey together anyway. And in that scene, she's sad and scared that her hubby's gonna go to Vietnam, and she clings onto Casey for dear life. When she says, "Dance with me," I just melt and go into Casey/Helen shipper overdrive, so had to make the wp with that quote.

And strange thing happened: one of my good online friends said that after trying to watch my music videos, that she ended up having an intense dream when she fell asleep later on. And Jon was in it. She seemed pretty surprised by this, as she knows little about him except what she's read from me. I found it so interesting and yet not too surprising. I'm interested in hearing if there's any more details from it though. I think it was just his way of saying, "Remember me." It's amazing how he can touch people like that - fan or not.

Summerland is a lot like Seventh Heaven? in that it has a family quality air about it even though it's about a group of 4 friends that live together and share a house...after inheritting the kiddos...it has a lot of funny moments too!

MS, Missing You is the ultimate denial song, so I can totally understand why you chose those lyrics for the icon.

BJ, I watched some of TCB again today, and I wasn't even really watching it until I knew that line was coming up.....then I rewound the tape just so I could hear it twice.

I'd read that Summerland was 7th Heaven-ish. I've never actually watched that show, but I'll definitely watch SL whenever we get it down here.

emjay, yup that's the same woman, Marin Hinkle is her name. I don't usually watch 2 And A Half Men, but I saw her on the ad one week and I got all excited coz Helen was on the show, so I watched it. The only other ep of that show I've watched completely is the one a couple weeks back where Chris O'Donnell guest starred. He's another of my celeb crushes from my highschool days (not quite as hard core as my Jon crush though). Can't wait til we get The Practice eps with him in them.....now if only the Olympics would hurry up and finish so channel 7 will show them!!

Ahem, yes, anyway, back on topic and you totally need to see TYTT so you can experience the Helen/Casey dancing scene for yourself. 'Tis sad and beautiful.
