I really hope that now Johnny can at least clear out his name and get a bit of justice after being painted by a monster for so long. Not saying he's a saint or anything but there was that whole being fired from Disney and the fact that a lot of people were very vocal and against him playing Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts...

Yeah, Johnny isn't a saint, but it is super clear that he is innocent when it comes to this. Also the fact that she has been abusive towards her ex(es) also speaks volumes to me.

And I find it sad that people was so quick to cancel on Johnny when she accused him back in 2016, but when the truth came out that she was the abuser everyone is like "we have to wait for more information etc". Which is so unfair toward Johnny.

But yeah, I really hope this will clear his name and that people will stop attacking him and that hopefully Disney might let him back if he wants that. I know, playing Jack meant alot to him.

As I wasn't a big HP movies fan, I never got around watching Fantastic Beasts, but I think I want to watch them just because of Johnny now.

I completely agree. The few proofs we've seen does show a completely different story than what was first released.
She has that previous thing counting against her, and I love the fact that Johnny's ex wives and also Winona came to his defense or at least stated that they couldn't believe that he would've done such things.

I bet that if the situation was reversed things would be different. I think that in all cases the way to go should be "let's wait for more information" or the very least "let's check facts", which wasn't what happened with Johnny, most people were very quick to jump on the "he's a monster" bandwagon.

Disney should at least apologize for the hasty decision.
I'm not a HP fan (never read the books or watched the movies), but I liked how JK Rowling stood her ground and didn't fire him from the movies back then. And I do remember a lot of people saying she was insane, and how disappointed they were... but where are they now??

Yeah, they really should apologize. That is at least they can do.

I love the books, but I think that is more to it being the first book I read on my own. So it holds a special place in my heart. But I agree, I really liked that she did that and that she was right all along.
