'Heroes,' 'Sex and the City' Stars Join 'Couples'
Kristen Bell and Kristin Davis will play the wives of Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau
October 15, 2008

Kristen Bell is planning a romantic retreat with her man ... and three other couples.

The "Heroes" star, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman have all signed up for the Universal comedy "Couples Retreat."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Peter Billingsley-directed film based on a script by Jon Favreau, will revolve around four couples who are working on their marriages and attend couples therapy whilst at a tropical island resort.

Kristen Bell will play the wife of Jason Bateman, while Davis pairs up with Favreau, and Akerman will play Vince Vaughn's little lady. So far, a partner has yet to be announced for Faizon Love.

The film will be shot in Bora Bora and Los Angeles.

Bell continues to recur as Elle on NBC's "Heroes" and to lend her voice as the titular narrator on The CW's "Gossip Girl." She recently wrapped shooting Disney's romantic comedy "When in Rome," due out next year.

Davis is fresh off of the "Sex and the City" movie, and Akerman will appear in the upcoming "Watchmen" adaptation and the Sandra Bullock romantic comedy "The Proposal."
I like Kristen and Jason both so it's awesome they're paired up in this.
