I haven't seen Australia either, but you're right, he looks absolutely radiant in the posters

Australia is almost three hours of pure delight! You're so busy looking at the Drover (Hugh's character) that you forget about the inconsistencies of the movie and cartoonish characters. Hugh is gorgeous and he gets better in each scene.
But don't get me wrong, the movie is okay although it could've taken time to develop one or two situations instead of trying to jump into political statememts and historical facts all at the same time. I loved the kid, he's really good too. Nicole is not as good as she has been before but at least this time she got a man taller than her!
The photography is impecable, it shows Autralia at its best and tells a lot of that continent. If you haven't seen it, go for it! You won't regret a single secod of it, especially Hugh's shirtless scenes....
Not spoilers meant. I think those scenes are mandatory in all his films by now, right?

I'm scared to watch Australia because I think I'll hate it. Hehe, but I would imagine having Hugh around would make anything tolerable at the least.

I hope they ask him back to host again; he was amazing hosting the Oscars tonight! As if I didn't love him enough, when he sings and dances...

Same here...I loved Australia And certainly couldn't stop ing every time Hugh was on screen!

I'm so happy they asked him to host the Oscars tonight...I hope it's not the last time! He's a great entertainer, with so much charisma and charm and it was great to see him since the moment the show started...Awesome overture

Kate Winslet said in the Oprah show that Hugh was in his element, he was born to host the Oscars. She's so right about that, he was just amazing!
