I don't really know if anyone out there likes him, but I just became hooked once I saw King Arthur and Ella Enchanted. I don't think there's one yet (unless I'm blind..) so, here's the obligatory appreciation thread!

Hi this guy is hott! lol my mom thinks so too I havent seen King Arthur yet I really want to though do you think it is worth getting on DVD and is it a movie that you could watch more than once?

From a non-historical-Arthurian-fanatic point of view, this movie is pretty good. It provides really nice entertainment. But if you're looking for something that's historically correct, you'd probably want to skip it. I think I may get this on DVD, as well, if I have money by the time it comes out.

Hey! A Hugh Thread! It's about time.

I'm a new fan of this guy. I discovered him in King Arthur, and then in Ella Enchanted. LOVE! Him in Ella Enchanted. I then found out that he was in Black Hawk Down, so I dug the DVD up, and sure enough, he was there, as the doctor. It's really tough to spot who's who in that movie, since they all had military cuts.

Yay! There's other people who likes Hugh! Hehe. Anyway..

I lost track of how many times I've watched Black Hawk Down since it came out in 2001 because I've found out so many actors I like were in the movie. I've only heard of three actors (Josh, Ewan, and Orlando) the very first time I watched it. Then I rented it for Eric Bana right before The Hulk came out, and after that again for Jason Issacs. I've recently watched it again, this time for Hugh as well as Ioan Gruffudd. But yeah, it's definitely hard to distinguish the actors because of their costumes and appearance.

WinterPolaris, the fact that Orlando and Hugh look the same when they had their crew cuts did not help at all.

Which brings me to these 2 pics.





The second pic has Orlando Bloom Central at the lower right corner. Was that a mistake? Because I think the guy on both these pictures is Hugh.

I'm pretty sure they're both caps of Hugh. Here's a picture of Orlando:



I think you can see the differences, no matter how slight they are. But I agree. It's really confusing and hard to tell who's who in the movie.. A lot of people compare Hugh to Orli, though. *shrugs*

In Black Hawk Down, it was heartbreaking to see Schmid try to hopelessly resuscitate Jesse. I think he played a doctor convincingly.

Coming over by order of Pao Just kidding. I had a blast watching this guy in Ella Enchanted (and in King Arthur), and listening to his commentaries with Anne in the DVD. And yes, I rewatched BHD just to see him (and Ioan) because the first time I watched the movie I was looking out for Orlando

WinterPolaris, I know! It was really cheesy, but I'm a sucker for musical numbers. And Hugh dancing, well, see that move he made in that last pic I posted? I'm no expert in dance, but that's a really dated dance move.
