He has a very sexy accent. I loved him as Dracula. He can nibble at my neck whenever he wants.

Yay! Other Gerard fans!

kittie: Loved, loved, loved him in Tomb Raider 2 and Timeline. He was the best part about both movies.

SummerNights: I surprisingly enjoyed Dracula, but I think that was due to the fact that GB was in it.

I can't wait for Dear Frankie to be released in October. A friend emailed me a link to the trailer last week and I just fell in love with the film based on that.

Gerard's next project

Gerard Butler to Star in Beowulf & Grendel
Source: Variety
Monday, May 31, 2004

Scottish actor Gerard Butler has signed to play the lead in the Canada/U.K./Iceland co-production Beowulf & Grendel, reports Variety. Butler starred in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, Timeline, and stars in the upcoming Phantom of the Opera.

Part fable, part horror story, Beowulf & Grendel, directed by Sturla Gunnarsson, is an adaptation of the epic poem "Beowulf," about a Norse warrior's battle against Grendel the murderous troll. The poem is said to have inspired J.R.R. Tolkien to write "The Lord of the Rings."

The epic medieval adventure will shoot in Iceland for 10 weeks beginning in August. The setting includes real glaciers, a fake 6th-century village and a replica of a Viking ship.

I heard that the trailer for Phantom of the Opera has been airing before showings of The Notebook and I was just wondering if anyone had had a chance to catch it?

I was anxious to see it on Christmas Day, I was really looking forward to it. It's the only movie I'm excited about seeing this winter. Now I have to wait until January?

I can't wait to see him in the Phantom role. I've seen Timeline and Tomb Raider, and he was pretty much the highlight of both films. They can keep Paul Walker.

Oh my god, I love Gerard Butler...the man is gorgeous, and that accent...WOW!

I can't wait to see Beowulf (love the poem) and Phantom of the Opera (love the book and the musical). I know he will be great in them!

I'll probably see Beowulf too. I wish it was December already so I could see Phantom, but I'd settle for November so I could buy the soundtrack.

Yes. I want to see how he sounds. I know that he's in a band, but there's a big difference between singing in a band and singing Phantom of the Opera. I can't wait to see him though.
