Hes a great actor, but he's never been a true hit in my book. He did a great job in batman & robin, which I enjoyed.

Those are great pictures! Thanks for posting! Mark Wahlberg...hottie!

And I think the movie you're referring to with Jennifer Lopez is 1998's Out of Sight! I liked that one too!

Pitt, Clooney 'Burn' Brightly
McDormand will also star
April 20, 2007

Brad PittBrad Pitt will reunite with George Clooney for the Coen Brothers' "Burn After Reading."

The film, set up at Working Title Films, has also added frequent Coen collaborator (and wife of Joel Coen) Frances McDormand.

While The Hollywood Reporter knows that Pitt and McDormand and Clooney are in the cast, it can't really provide any details as to who the various actors will play. The dark comedy revolves around a CIA agent who writes a tell-all book, but then loses the disk containing the manuscript.

As is the usual titular division of duties, "Burn After Reading" was written by both Joel and Ethan Coen and will be produced by Ethan and directed by Joel.

Production will begin in late August.

Perhaps Pitt, Clooney and the Coens can talk about the project at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. The two actors co-star in "Ocean's Thirteen," receiving a gala out-of-competition premiere, while the Coens' latest, "No Country for Old Men," is up for the Palme d'Or.

Most recently seen in "Babel," Pitt has "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" set for a 2007 release and is currently working on "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

Clooney Has a Professional 'Crisis'
Oscar winner may direct or star in Smoke House film (or maybe not)
April 23, 2007

George ClooneyWarner Bros. has grabbed the feature remake rights to the documentary "Our Brand Is Crisis" for George Clooney's Smoke House production shingle.

According to Variety, Peter Straughan will adapt the film. The trade paper speculates that it may be a potential directing and starring vehicle for Clooney.

The plan is to spin "Our Brand Is Crisis" as a dark political comedy. The Rachel Boynton documentary focused on the unusual 2002 Bolivian presidential election, in which a candidate hired James Carville's political consulting film. Utilizing the same tactics the film uses in the United States, the candidate's goes from underdog to contender, which isn't necessarily a good thing for Bolivian democracy.

According to the BoxOfficeMojo website, "Our Brand Is Crisis" took in $166,750 during its very limited 2006 theatrical run.

The Smoke House banner is currently working on "Leatherheads," directed by and co-starring Clooney. Other projects on the company's slate include the Coen Brothers' "Burn After Reading," the James Ellroy adaptation "White Jazz" and John Grisham's "The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town."
