great news on the sequel, and they need to lock up the Director contract soon, for Patty Jenkins. her vision and direction are so important for this character and world. i am still astounded by Gal's performance as WW, she brought the right amount of tone, intensity, seriousness, subtlety, wit, physicality, it just blows me away at how much character and gravitas Gal brings to Diana. she was born to take this role! bravo.

according to both THR and Variety, Patty Jenkins is still in contract negotiations for WW2 but is actively working with the script writers and the studio.
