Has anyone heard of any projects she may have lined up?

On IMDB, they only list her movies until Phantom of the Opera. They're usually pretty good about listing future projects, too.

I'm sure if Phantom is good, she'll have a lot of offers.

Just saw Phantom. I'd heard of Emmy before, but never really seen her stuff.

She's amazing. And gorgeous. And has an awesome voice!

She's totally my new favorite actress.

It hasn't been getting great reviews, but I think it's just because you can't beat the original Broadway stage production.

I think Emmy is totally deserving of a GG. I'm crossing my fingers.

oh! I want to watch Phantom of the Opera, but living in a community without a theater...I have to wait

I just noticed, when I was younger, wasn't she in a disney film? about a smart kid getting into....college(i think) and he changes his appearance to impress people. I dunno.

I believe critics didn't much care for the musical when it first came out either, at least that's what I've been told.

I think it's just pretty much a love/hate kind of film. Either you'll love it, or you'll hate it. I loved it.

I honestly think Gerard Butler is more deserving of a nod, but I'm glad someone from the film got a nod either way.

ER has a beautiful voice, even more so in the theater it seemed. I'll admit the first time I saw the movie, she didn't impress me as an actress as much as I expected especially from the way people were praising her. The second time I warmed up to her.

ashely You're welcome for bringing this back!

Cubby Are you talking about the film "Genius"?

TheCheshireKitten Who is Erik? Your sign says Erik and Christine - I don't remember an Erik in the film... I think Gerard Butler was deserving of a nod to, to bad he didn't get one. I think Emmy has a lovely voice to, she was perfect for Christine.

Erik is the Phantom's name, which isn't used in the ALW musical/film but in the original novel. I'm actually surprised and disappointed they didn't add it into the film, given how much they emphasized that the Phantom was a genius, but only just a man.

Those Elle pics are beautiful. She has such great hair. I'm jealous.

Erik was never used in the musical, so I guess that's why they didn't want to put it in the movie. The book discusses the phantom more as a human being and is way more sympathetic to him, IMO, and the musical keeps him as a very mysterious figure...Christine's angel of music.

Looking at those pictures, you totally forget she's 18. She's gorgeous. Thanks for the scans.
