| I've read some interviews she's done for Troy ( being a Orlando and Eric fan) and began to really admire her because even though she has been cast as 'the most beautiful women in the world' she doesnt seem to rub it in when she is being asked about it if any thing she deflects the question and prefers to talk about the emotions and stuff of the character she is playing. Anyway, Mini-bio: Diane was born Diane Heidikrueger in Germany.She studied ballet with the Royal Ballet in London but an injury ended her career. She returned to Germany and became a top fasion model. She later pursued acting and moved to Paris at the suggestion of filmmaker Luc Besson (fifth elemant). She has done two or three foreign language films before getting cast opposite Josh Hartnett and Matthew Lillard in 'Wicker Park'. | When I heard this movie was being made and they cast a relative unknown as Helen, I was really curious. Hopefully she can hold her own among all those sexy men. | Supreme Fan   | I was thinking of starting a thread for Diane, but I didn't cause I didn't think it would get any hits. Glad to see I was proven wrong! I don't know why, but I have a good feeling about her being chosen as Helen of Troy. I think she'll be able to hold her own amongst the men of the film. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Some people think she's "not pretty enough". I disagree. She is definitly goregous and is a face that could launch a thousand ships. | I thought she looked GORGEOUS at the Cannes premiere.     Just lovely. She was featured in Vanity Fair a couple months ago.. I'll see if I can scan her pics from there.  I read how she had to put on 15 lbs. for her role as Helen! | |||

| The trailer for Diane's new film 'Wicker Park' is online at Yahoo movies, it stars Josh Hartnett and Rose Byrne (useless fact-->who also stars with her in Troy) plus Matthew Lillard there are some film stills as well but i have no idea how to post those so its probably safer if i don't even try! __________________ *Lotti* A Man of Quality is not Threatened by a Woman of Equality!! | Oh, I know. I wished we could've explored more of Paris and Helen. More of the guilt she felt and how she dealt with it. It felt like Rose Byrne (Briseis) got more screentime. I'm actually starting to get into Wicker Park more and more. I cant wait till it's out. | |||
