I have to admit, after DA, I found it hard to picture Dan do "bad boy" roles like the one in The Guest but that's also how you gauge an actor if he's versatile.
His acting wasn't up to par on DA though but it has improved in time. I'm impressed watching him on Legion and that American accent is good. __________________

I agree that out of all I've seen I think DA was his weakest acting. But I still find him good. And I kinda felt the writing was some of the problem too. It was kinda a mixture.

I liked S1-S3 of DA. After that it went downhill. Part of the reason is because the show only has 1 writer for the entire 6 seasons so it was going to get stale.
He wanted to try acting in the U.S. too so it was a really big decision for him to leave the UK and pursue his acting in the U.S. which, I'm glad, has paid off. __________________
