You would assume she would be a star on the rise, although the business in the UK is a little bit different to the states. One thing she has going for her is she will be picked on what she is now, and what she will be for a long time, rather than what she potentially can offer in the future

Im sure the producers of the Golden Compass picked her on potential, she could have become a bigger fantasy pinup than Emma Watson's Hermone if the movie trilogy was successful. Showbusiness is a funny thing sometimes they dont want people to be picked too young, because they werent ready for some reason

There was an argument that she was picked too early to be on Skins, but what she was at the end of Skins dispelled those reasons she was not suitable for the franchise

Skins only allows 2 seasons per character/ cast, before they get rid of everyone and start all over again. The idea of the show covers the final 2 years the kids go to college

The kid recently turned 18. shes on a gap year (or something). Living away from home for the first time and seeing the world etc. She says shes a vegetarian, she would be a nightmare to go traveling with, with that demanding diet and all

I think the woman bleached her hair as a way to make her hair look interesting while she grew it out, she chopped off her gorgeous long flowing locks for her Skins role (initially)->

Another thing to note is
She started off as a lbgt idol on Skins (Skins is a very lbgt audience friendly show). The character wore boy's clothing. And had a cult following on the internet for a while.

The second season of her stint on the show saw the character changed and eloped up with boys and a boyfriend. There was a small dip in the ratings (possibly the lbgt audience) because of what they did to the character. The character had a load of potential, (with regards to her sexuality), however the signals the way things were going (or going to go) in season 5 went in a "disappointing", "safe", or clichéd heterosexual love story in season 6
