Thanks for the new thread, and for the add and welcome in the old one.

I enjoyed The Dark World a lot, but I could've used a few less one-liners and funny bits and a little more time spent on some of the dramatic bits. Chris was great, and Thor was looking at his best imo!

Lots of things to catch up with, but first of all congrats to Chris and Elsa on expecting their second baby!

I almost freaked out when I found out about the accident, but then I breathed a huge sigh of relief to know the were all right.

I hope that never happens again...

Poor Chris, he can't catch a break lately - first that boat incident, and then the other day the cast and crew of Heart of the Sea had to flee the area where they were shooting because the heavy rain caused unexpected floods. Luckily they were all okay, but the weather caused five deaths and left many homeless among the local people.

Perhaps it's because I like him and these movies so much that I always want the best for and from them.

It's hard not to go into something with expectations and hopes when you really look forward to it.
I still think the movie would've been better and the pacing felt more natural if only it had been 15-20 minutes longer.
