| I love Cate. She's one of my fav's. I so glad that there's a thread dedicated to her. I adored her in Bandits, Elizabeth(of course) and Heaven. First class acting. __________________

| I loved her in Elizabeth (My first Cate movie and one of my favorites), Bandits, and The Talented Mr. Ripley. I was watching Elizabeth just the other day. It's fantastic for me because I love Tudor history as well... It's funny because my sister has only seen Cate in LOTR. She wasn't impressed then and kept saying how she didn't like Cate. | Cate is the best actress of her generation. Period. She was robbed of that Oscar for Elizabeth  Q - What was the first movie you saw her in? | I saw Hedda Gabler last Monday - Cate and co were simply superb in it It actually made me think back to when I saw her on stage almost 10 years ago before she became big and thought wtf did I shut down my site to her a few years later It's made me reconsider that decision lately Oh well 3rd time I've seen Cate and she's just as good now as she was 10 years ago! | |||
