| They were the extended editions! I watched them over the course of three evenings and while doing dusting and such. I can't wait for Robin Hood, it will be out in September, like you mentioned, but I'm not a huge Russell Crowe fan. I will see it for Cate, but he doesn't impress me much. Not to quote Shania Twain or anything. __________________ | |||

| Obsessed Fan | Don't worry, I couldn't agree with you more on Crowe! And he did kind of irritate me in RH...he mumbled & grumbled throughout the entire thing!  Cate was good...she's always good...I just thought they didn't utilize her to the best of their (& her) abilities. But I enjoyed watching her onscreen again. And I'm looking forward to seeing her in Hanna! I'm not a huge fan of Wright's Pride & Prejudice & Atonement but I do acknowledge he's a talented filmmaker & this has the potential to be great, but we shall see. Anyway, I could go on for days about Cate but will spare you. I will, however, tell you I was fortunate enough to see Cate in Streetcar Named Desire this past Nov./Dec. in New York and WOW! I've never seen her that brilliant EVER!!! She was even better than her performance in Elizabeth & I wasn't sure ANYTHING could top that! | Obsessed Fan | Okay, here ya go & mind you this is right after her emotionally exhaustive & draining performance as Blanche in Streetcar so she's a bit ragged :  She was REALLY nice & I was surprised she even was willing to sign autographs & take pix cuz poor thing was tuckered & had her kiddos with her. yes! She blew me away in Elizabeth! I can watch that film/performance over & over & never tire of it! What films of hers do you own? | Obsessed Fan | Thanks Melika! That trip was so memorable for me! I also bumped into Meryl Streep one of the nights & she sat right in front of me during the performance! That was too cool!  Anyway, she was fab & I only wish they'd find a way to transfer that onto film cuz everyone should see Cate perform in that play!  Anyway, please tell me what you think of Robin Hood as soon as you see it, I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts! | |||
