I haven't really decided to be a full time fan of Bryce yet since I just saw two of her movies and have yet to see her full range of acting chops, but I do love the Village and Ladyn The Lake.
What I love about those two movies is the kind of straight from the heart Jane-Austen-esque like dialogue they use and how the characters interact in a completely honest and sarcasm free style that's not been seen in ages. I guess Bryce appreciated those qualities when she decided to do the movies with M Night. What I don't understand is the intense hatred of these movies by a lot of people, maybe because they were expecting a certain horror and twist based formula from the director and were dissapointed. How could the go into a movie and hate it because it doesn't fit into their cookie-cutter expectations? That is just so wrong. |

Navie - I couldn't agree more. I wish critics and viewers had been more open minded to something new from him.......especially with Lady in the water which was more different than his other films. I really loved it.

Navie ITA with you, the critcis and others were to harsh, I think, because the films didn't fit the mold of what is expected of them. It is unfair to not look at the films with an open mind, and see them as something different. I want to see Lady in the Water, Ihaven't seen that one yet. DreamWalker I didn't know she was on Oprah! To bad I missed it  I didn't know she was going to be in a movie with Jennifer Aniston...I am looking forward to seeing her in Spider-Man 3! __________________

Lara - Yep, she was on with Jennifer Aniston this week. The movie looks really interesting..........I'm drawing a blank on what the project is called but it's about various women and true stories of love/courage. Bryce is directing one of the stories..........it's so cute how nervous she was about showing her father the project.
I'm looking forward to Spidey 3 too! __________________

That's cool that she got to direct! I don't blame her for being nervous, I would be too if I had to show a directing project to Ron Howard  Does anyone know if she's having a boy or girl?  Whatever it will be it will be so cute! __________________
