I didn't find a Brad thread so I figured I'd start one.

Brad Renfro was a talented actor who played in movies like Bully, The Client, Deuces Wild, Ghost World,..

Sadly I have to say 'was', because he died just yesterday at the age of 25.

my sister was a big fan she has all of his movies and she has liked him since it is like 14 years he is the same age as her.and i am really sad that he is dead.

Yes, it's incredibly sad. He was a good, young actor. May he rest in peace.

I thought he was really talented and it always saddened me to see him struggling with the drinking, drugs, etc.

It's very sad, I found out yesterday on the news of imdb. I looked for a thread of his yesterday also, and didn't find one, so it's nice to see that now there is one. I always liked him in Deuces Wild, and Tom & Huck, I think that was the movie. I never saw The Client. Any word on what caused this.

I remember when Tom and Huck came out most of the girls loved Jonathon Taylor Thomas (aka JTT) but I was the opposite. I didn't understand why they couldn't see how adorable Brad Renfro was. My heart is broken that he's gone. He was such a beautiful and talented young man. And to think he's just a year older than I am... It blows my mind. My heart is sick. May he finally rest and be happy.

Yeah I was also more into Brad than JTT because he seemed like such a fragile boy who wanted to look tough but still had that vulnerability about him.

They think it might have been an overdose, but nothing's for sure yet.

I loved him in Sleepers and Apt Pupil. Bully was a very strong role as well.

I was shocked when I read the news. I had no idea of the problems he had. I haven't seen that many films with him in but i lvoe Apt Pupil and Sleepers.

I'll never understand how some people can be so horrible. And trust me, it's not a sad thing to be attached to someone you've never met. Look at the millions of people that mourned John Lennon. It the way the person has affected your life and that doesn't mean you had to of been friends with him. Thanks for letting me know about the vigil. I'll try to make it up there on Saturday.

I'll never understand how people can be that horrible. No matter the cause, it's a tragedy.

It's not sad at all. There are actors and musicians like that in my life as well.

xstarsgoblue25x. I can relate. My world basically revolved around him when I first saw him in The Client. He was my big crush. I saved all my pinups and magazine articles from my Brad phase and dug them out and had a good cry. I've always tried to keep track of his career. I just recently discovered his music though. That boy was so talented. He's one of the few celebs I can say that I wish I would've met. His family and friends are in my thoughts. I hope they know how many fans are affected by this. Oh No They Didn't?! has been a comfort to me, even though I don't post there. They've been good to Brad.
