Hi everyone,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of re-customizing message boards and now it's your turn! Please post any picture and color suggestions that you have on this thread. We would appreciate it if you could let us know which pictures you’d like to see in the board graphic. Any help is appreciated, but we ask that you please do not post pictures directly onto this thread, as that will severely slow down the load time for people with slower connections.

You'll be allowed to vote for your favorite graphic in a few weeks from today, and it’ll continue for 5 days at which point the thread will be closed and we will immediately start customizing your board.

Your votes and suggestions for possible colors and the best graphic will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

So happy this board's getting re-customized!

Personally, I'd like the colours to be lighter and more feminine since this is a Female Celebrities board.

As for which celebrities should be on the graphic, I'm not really sure. The popularity of the actresses changes so rapidly that it's hard to predict which ones will still be popular a year from today.
That's why I think it would be a good idea to have women representing different times in making movies on the graphic. For example someone like Greta Garbo or Judy Garland as well as Kate Beckinsale or Natalie Portman. Just an idea.

If we're going for celebs who are popular today, I'd avoid putting those who are likely to get their own board on FF on the graphic. So I'd choose the ones like Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Nicole Kidman, Christina Ricci, etc.

I agree about Angelina Joli being put on this and maybe even Ash Simpson.

Some pictures of random female celebrities (I got some of some people's suggestions as well). I went through some threads and picked some pictures from there. I know I used Lara Croft's Kate Bosworth pictures (if it's not okay, you can edit it out)..and thanks to whoever else's pictures I used.

Also, I don't know if this would be easier, but if you see the FC that you want to be in the graphic listed below but have a picture suggestion, PM me with the link. I'll edit it in and put that it was suggested by you.

Color Schemes

Hm..I would definatly say something pastel. Light pink, light yellow, light blue. Something along those lines.

As for colors, I agree with most of you. I'd like to see softer colors, maybe purples or light greens.

How about instead of posting celeb pics, we do something like the un-customized boards have, the general FF banner with three characters, unknown who they are, but three distinct people.

We could find two celeb pics, perhaps one of a classic actress and one of a current actress, we could get those done like the general graphic and in between but "Female Celebrities" and maybe like a star or Oscar graphic behind that.

I'm all for putting pics up of female celebs, but let's be honest, we're never going to decide on three that makes everyone happy and let's say for instance that we put Cameran Diaz in the graphic and that's all nice and well unitl for some reason Cameran joins the cast of The OC or One Tree Hill. Suddenly everyone adores a weekly dose of Cameran and we have a ton of fans wanting a board for her alone. Then we've got more than one graphic with her in it. That's not really fair I suppose.

I definitely agree. Don't wanna have to re-do the image again a year down the road. There are a large chunk of celebs here though that are popular, but not *that* popular that a board would be in the running for them, at least at the present moment. It'll be hard choosing a few to put in it though.

As for the color scheme, I agree with the pastel, softer colors. Maybe something with purple and pink accents?

I think pastel colors would be good like pink, yellow, and purple. Maybe because celebrities go in out...use the Classic celebrities like Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, and Marilyn Monoroe.
