She's not returning. She's interested, but realizes it's probably not going to happen. I'd say it's very unlikely that she and the original cast will return, since Hugh Jackman is done playing Wolverine, and they definitely won't bring any of them back without him. X-Men is also getting rebooted into the MCU.

I liked the first couple of X-Men movies a lot but sort of lost interest after a while. I think a reboot could be good but it'll be sad to see the old cast go. And while I think Marvel having control of the X-Men could be good adding them to the MCU seems like a bit much.
