https://twitter.com/UnbrokenFilm Follow this twitter for updates on Unbroken. I hope the release date gets pushed back though. I don't think Christmas is the right day for its opening. There are tons of movies coming out that day. December has several light weekends ahead of Christmas. I hope she chooses to move the date back to a better time frame. I think it could make more money that way. I think December 5th would be the ideal date. It could happen. It happened for Fury. The original release date was in November but it got pushed back to October because the studio knew Interstellar & Big Hero 6 would be too much blockbuster competition in November. |

I can't wait for Unbroken! I hadn't gotten to see the trailer yet but it played before Fury and oh my god
 I don't care when it opens, I'm definitely going to watch it. I think it'll do well in Christmas though because it's an inspirational story and that might work to get audiences to watch it. __________________

 credit:ellasenvy The expectations for Unbroken are sky-high. Screenings for the film are going to begin in November. I hope the early hype is positive and comes out of the gate strong. I am just worried about the too-high standards that people are placing on the movie. The detractors are going to try to rip it to shreds over any little flaw since Angie directed it. People are expecting Unbroken to be a masterpiece and that is hard to live up to. I really pray it emerges as a top contender at the awards race and can be a box office hit too. It is also supposed to be Jack O'Connell's launching pad to the A-list. Needless to say, that I am very proud of Angelina. She is an accomplished actress and I hope this movie really puts her on the map as a director. The Coens wrote the screenplay and Roger Deakins is the cinematographer. I heard the Original Song in the film is by Coldplay. The movie has the absolute best in the business! Remember to vote for Angelina and Maleficent for the People's Choice Awards!
