Yeah Fred's soul is gone, only her memories live in Illyria, so that could be part of the reason Illyria was feeling grief. Other than that i think it was purely that it was Wesley, he makes her human in a way, i dunno its hard to describe but i think you know what i mean

I haven't seen Hole In the World OR Shells, but from what I remember, didn't they say that Fred's soul was in essence, destroyed?

Now Now. The *only* people who said Fred's soul was destroyed are the people who killed her. They were evil, so I don't buy them. Plus why would they tell the truth, when it would cause their God Death?

So I don't buy that Fred's soul is destroyed. I think it's still within Illyria, it's probably merged with her. That is why Illyria's having such strong emotions... she's caring. Loving. Those are feelings, human emotions that she shouldn't be having.

Also Amy said that if season six would have been a go, the writers were planning on spliting Fred & Illyria into two different characters... Fred *would* have been brought back. Amy would have played duel roles. So Fred soul has to still be somewhere

I wonder if the "grief" would have caused them to split

but now we'll never know

Well seeing Amy play BOTH roles next season definitely would have been great. She differentiated between the two so well that playing them simultaneously would have been so much fun to watch.

Amy Acker's New Movie Begins Filming Next Week

Which, unfortunately, means her scheduled appearances at Hyperion and Prometheus have been altered.

Since Amy is required on set for June 14th, she is going to fly back on Sunday afternoon of Hyperion, missing most of the Sunday of the event and Prometheus altogether. The Illyria photoshoot has been postponed until Quor'Toth next year.

There is no further information available at the moment concerning which film she has been cast in or its premise.

I don't know if I'll be able to go see that one. The new one with Jessica Beil scared me so bad I couldn't sleep for a week (I know I'm a wuss). I might have to though. That's great news. I can't wait to see how she does playing that kind of part.
