I think it was a little bit of both. Definately the majority of it was Fred, her soul is why Illyria is feeling "Human." But Illyria to, because Wesley was the closest person she had.

I don't think so. Illyria commented on Fred's soul and simply said it 'gone'. I think the I/W scene was entirely Illyria's greif and pretending to be Fred.
