I checked to see if there was a thread already, I couldn't find one but I'm tired and probably skipped it so if there is a thread already, closing this one would be necessary.

She's fliming two new movies, according to IMBD.

Which is great because I've wanted to see her in new movies since Matchstick Men came out. I also loved her in White Oleander.

oh! at first I was wondering where I heard this name, until I googled her! I loved her in White Oleander, but that's the only movie I seen her in...but still! love her performance

I luuuurve Allison Lohman. The first time I saw 'white oleander', I came home and bawled my eyes out. Matchstick Men is also really good. She's got two movies coming out this year, in one of them, she's the lead with Kevin Bacon and Colin Firth.

It just wrapped filming in November so it's in post now and probably won't be out for a while, but it's in the can, so that's good.

I just watched Big Fish. That movie is interesting..the only reason I watched it because I heard Alison was in it.

I heard of it before when it came out in theatres but thought it looked silly, then I heard Alison was in it and only watched it because of her.

She was so beautiful in it.

Hey. I loved Alison's characters in WO and Matchstickmen. She is a fantastic actress. I thought Big Fish was a little overrated.

Also I think she looks alot like a younger version of that actress who played Johnny Depp's wife in Finding Neverland and was also in Pitch Black...cant remember her name..I think she might be Australian..?

As you can tell by my avatar. I'm "slightly" fond of her. Thought I'd search around and see if there was a thread for her somewhere. And found this thread buried deep down.

I'll post a few things I posted elsewhere but certainly belongs here.

Interview with Alison regarding Matchstick Men. But this site does better celeb interviews than just about anyone else and she addresses a bunch of other things as well. I especially loved her list of directors she wanted to work with. Mentioned a lot of indie directors rather than famous or trendy directors. You can tell she really cares about movies and acting. Plus it really shows what a sweet girl she is. You can't help but love her.

Here are four pictures of her from her upcoming Atom Egoyan film (best known for directing the Sweet Hereafter, Exotica, and Ararat), Where the Truth Lies.

And here is a little clip I was able to capture from the Cannes website from the film. Very psychedelic.

But seriously. While Alison's character is wasted in the scene in question and the movie is not going to be quite like this, Atom has his own unique style which is why you'll see a very large divergence of opinion over a good number of his movies. This one will be no exception.

i've seen her in White Oleander, Big Fish, and Matchstick Men. I loved her in Matchstick Men, and White Oleander. I loved Big Fish, but her had such a small role in it.
