Hey guys

I can't believe there was no thread for Christian. I've liked him for ages now...in Heathers...Pump up the volume.....True Romance....and many more.

Any Christian fans out there? He is one hot guy!

I have always been a huge fan of Christian. I am glad to see a thread here for him, although it hasn't received very many replies.
I think one of my favorite movies is Very Bad Things. And of course there is Heathers, True Romance, Murder In The First, Interview With A Vampire and Pump Up The Volume. All really good movies. And I know there are so many more.

I love the pics groovyk1!!

I love Christian Slater. One of the first works I ever saw him in was Gleaming the Cube. I'm a total Heathers fan here but his work that's most inspired me has got to be Pump Up the Volume. I really can't explain my love for it; it's just there.

Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied
Everybody got this broken feeling
Like their father or their dog just died

TALK HARD!

Bed of Roses was interesting...a lot of it doesn't work but still he impressed me there. A man covered with pain taking walks at midnight to ease some of his own with those stalkerish tendencies while leaving out the psychoticness of it all with a big heart and romantic ideals. That scene with him in the bedroom waiting for her; I completely bought it. He just really brought his deep side into the role. His character Lewis there actually reminds me a lot of the type of guy he plays in Untamed Heart, which isn't a bad thing. Also his glasses in the movie were a turn on!

Has anyone seen him in Bobby? B_0283

DefLeppardFan, I kind of only seen three of those movies you've mentioned. Where should I start?

Christian Slater Plays Spy Game with NBC
Network close to ordering series from 'Kidnapped' creator
March 14, 2008

Christian Slater may soon be starring in his first TV series, courtesy of NBC.

The network is on the verge of picking up a series that would star Slater as a suburban father whose alter ego is a daring spy. It comes from writer Jason Smilovic ("Bionic Woman") and is being described as a mix of "The Bourne Identity" and "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

If the series order does in fact happen, it would mark Slater's first starring role in a TV series. He was attached to another NBC pilot last year, but that project didn't go forward.

Slater does have a few TV credits under his belt in recent years, including guest spots on "The West Wing," "Alias" and "My Name Is Earl." His film credits include "Heathers," "True Romance," "The Good Shepherd" and "Bobby."

The untitled spy drama was first conceived as a feature film a few years ago. Producer Armyan Bernstein ("Children of Men," "Bring It On") brought the idea to the network last year, and Smilovic signed on as its writer.

Smilovic was an executive producer on the ill-fated "Bionic Woman." He also created NBC's "Kidnapped" and worked on ABC's "Karen Sisco."

Chelbh, start with "Legend of Billie Jean" since that was one of his first movies, then "Young Guns II", "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves", and then "Mobsters", since these are some of his early movies.
