I'm personally not a fan of Penelope Cruz at all, so I hope she doesn't co-star. There's just something about her that annoys me.

Well, if she does sign on, I wonder if her character being Jack's foil and equal also means romance? I just wouldn't want Jack to transform into some lovesick guy or anything like that.

Also.... Johnny has said in a new interview that they are coming at P4 at a "different angle" and new director Rob Marshall has a "different view". This has me worried. I don't want it to be too different. I want Pirates 4 to be like a Pirates movie. __________________

Ian McShane, best known for HBO's DEADWOOD, is in talks to join PIRATES 4 as Blackbeard!!. This is cool. McShane is a cool character with a strong presence and voice. I'm happy about this.
