Nighy didn’t say whether he would like to return with or without Jones’ tentacles – but since he spent two films buried under CG effects, wouldn’t it be cool to see him without?

Casting buzz has been relatively scarce on the fourth Pirates, but a very persistent rumor has Russell Brand joining the Sparrow clan as Jack’s brother. We asked Nighy if there was any truth to the story, but the actor shrugged it off as rumor. “No, I didn’t hear that. I don’t think there’s any more news at this point other than that there will be another Pirates movie.”
