she seriously thinks I lied about my appointment being canceled last Thursday because I hate going to the dentist

like I really don’t like the dentist but I didn’t make it up and they called Mom and me about the appointment being canceled, like why would I want to be in pain more then I need to be? Yes I hate the dentist but I know it needs to be pulled, it just really annoys me that she thinks I totally made up an appointment being canceled

It just sucks when people don’t believe you, especially family, and seriously there’s so many other things I would lie about like how much we love taking care of her dog for the last 2 years I wouldn’t lie about something as small as a canceled dentist appointment

ETA: So mad

Appointment was at 8:30 AM didn’t get called in until 10 AM and they couldn’t pull it

something about their system being down and they couldn’t get the x-rays from the other dentist, I feel like they just didn’t want to do it because they were running 1 1/2 hours behind schedule

So I called the other dentist who said they can do it next Wednesday so I’m doing that one then seeing another dentist because I don’t like how this one is only open 3 days a week but I just want the tooth pulled ASAP and they are the only ones that can do it that fast

Apparently a cleaning is more important than pulling an infected tooth, I think it’s just because she was running 40 minutes behind and cleanings are faster than extractions

I have another appointment in two weeks where supposedly it’s getting pulled, it should since it’s the only thing they have left to do and then I’m switching dentists

I’m hoping because it just annoys me it’s taken so long and I would like it pulled before I have to start school and work again since I would rather not be in pain while dealing with the kids

For anyone that had their teeth pulled, do you think it’s safe to take the bus home after? Just wondering because apparently my sister needs my Mom that week until Friday and my appointment is Thursday, which means I have to take the bus there and back, I don’t mind the there, I’m more worried about taking it back after it’s pulled

One of my friends is picking me up after

but such a relief to not worry about it anymore

I’ll try checking in at least once a day over the next few days but sister and the kids are sleeping over from tomorrow night until Wednesday afternoon so not sure how much time I’ll have but I will try since they have to go to bed at some point
