Is it a 2-disc one? If so I'm pretty sure it's the bad dog edition because it's what I got but I could only get it online. That might be the blu-ray version too, so make sure it's not blu-ray and it's the regular dvd one.

I know, the book was sadder, it probably would have been the other way around if I saw the movie first, but I read the book first and I remember I totally bawled.

I know what you mean - what i experience first I tend to like more thats why i prefer reading books before i watch a movie cuz the books are always better but if i were to watch the movie first then... its like the movie came before the book... and i like it

does that make sense ?

totally makes sense and I agree, most of the time the books tend to be better than the movie that's why I like reading the books first too
