I actually always thought they would be great together since I always do this thing when I pair the paring in my head and I just always enjoyed their scenes, I seriously always loved the idea of them. I can't say how I became a fan cause I never was watching Friends by the Season like everyone else, I started watching Friends when it was like on it's 9th Season but I wasn't watching the 9th Season. I was watching the re-runs on the WB 11 and I love how Rachel and Joey both knew about the Monica and Chandler relationship. I love when it was a What's If episode: We got a lot of Joey&Rachel in that episode. So I was always a shipper but I wasn't watching the episodes in order

for me it was in the later seasons - rnr were my first love

but i did enjoy the idea of them from time to time

its funny though in s6 when mondler are going to be engaged and phoebe and rachel ask ross and joey to be their backup and in the end they randomly pick and rachel chooses joey and phoebe ross and then they're like we should just switch. when i first wathed that ep - i was like yeah switch but now - i dont think they should

I actually loved RnR at a point I thought they were cute and I felt so sad for younger Ross since he really loved Rachel and she never noticed it but Joey/Rachel is my favorite paring on the show

but I think I love them more as friends but would have love to see them last longer.

So I didn't dislike Ross/Rachel but I really love Joey/Rachel

I mean I love Ross and Rachel also but it was nice to finally see Joey feel something more for a woman than just the physical.
