I have posted this on the SPN Board episode thread, too, but here comes my thoughts about 4.14...I hope you don´t mind.

After all these con stuff I was finally able to watch this episode.
I like this episode - it was really interesting to see how this boys grow further apart. And it hurt like hell of course to watch it.

I haven´t said the enough before but I truly LOVE BOBBY!!! He rocks in his few little scenes. When I saw him in the kitchen it felt somehow that he didn´t belong there but it was really funny and I like to see him more on ramdom places. And in the end when he comes to the rescue and saved the day was soooooooooooo awesome!

The tension between the boys were build the whole episode. Here a lie from Sam, there some unspoken words from Dean and then the showdown in the hotelroom. I can see where Sam is coming from and why he reacted in a more angry hurtful way then Dean. Before the hotelroom Dean has hurt him when he didn´t trust him on the phone and brought Madison up. And I think that Dean is wrong that Sammy is still there in Sam. Deep down in him there is still a little bit of Sammy left - who looks for his brother approval and understanding. And with Dean not trusting Sam - I believe that exactly that place was hurt. As you all know already is that I am a Samgirl and I kind of can understand his point of view but his words to Dean were to harsh. I felt so sorry for Dean when Sam called him weak. And when he came up with Deans time in hell - he really hit a lowpoint. For the first time I was more on Deans side then Sammy. Although I can totally see where both arguments are coming from.
And the end scene broke my heart again. It couldn´t be more clear that they are so far away from being good as it is possible. Why couldn´t Bobby stay around and look after the boys. Obviously he noticed that they weren´t ok at all.
Fantastic acting from Jensen and Jared.

you nailed my thoughts again on that episode. I got hurt as well when Sammy told Dean that he's weak; but I was more worried about Dean when he said that "boohoo." Yes, that was low. Although, I can understand Sam. As I've pointed out at the SPN Board, too that when a person is angry, he is more likely to say things that he will eventually regret. This happened for both boys. (1)Dean when he asked Sam about him and sleeping with monsters (2) and Sam in that final confrontation.

ETA: Two scenes really really got to me. "He killed my brothers. How would you feel?" - "Can't imagine anything worse." and "You know, what he said, some good advice." - "Is that what you want me to do, Dean? Just let you go?" I mean, damn it, it wasn't as much the words as their faces that did it, but they made me cry. Again. Ofcourse I haven't failed to notice that the fact that Sam can't imagine anything worse than his brother dying is really beautiful in a heartwrenching sort of way.
Dean played the "I'm the oldest" card in the car. that's lame dude, lol.
Course they made me laugh too. "Dude, could you be more gay?.. Don't answer that." and "Well, I'm thinking about fairytales." - "Oh, that's... that's nice. Do you think about fairytales often?" made me laugh so hard.
And Dean went to stop the Big Bad Wolf, how awesome is that? XD
I liked the story too. I did not like that awful looking frog/toad thing. I have an irrational phobia of toads and frogs. It literally made me scream. LMAO.
Oh and I didn't like that bitch, the Crossroads demon either. I know she wasn't telling the truth when she said all that stuff about Sam secretly being relieved and all but damn it made me mad. I guess I should be worried cause Sammy shot her while he knew it wouldn't solve anything but I can't seem to care too much. She was stupid. And I think I don't care much about Sam getting a little darker because the brothers are still together and still have their bond. That's what matters most to me.

Shorter version of what's on my LJ, but I can't expect everyone to wander on there.

oh and I have that BDABR picspam.
