Ugh, I hate Sam getting knocked out so much. Yeah, that has to be part of a drinking game He's got the knowledge & skill that he's a great hunter. It's a shame it's not always shown

I agree but there wasn't much they could do about it in these episodes because of Jared's real life injury. But then again, they could've tried to work with it and show how there are other things you can do when you are down.

I agree Chris. Sam should be kicking more. He is a hunter and Dean still kicks more ass than Sam does even when he is not a demon! Come on writers why does Sam jave to be the weakwr brother with no damn friends.

Maybe it is tied to his emotions. That is what it was like with Buffy Summers on BtVS. Sometimes she'd be completely thrown off her game because her inner workings were messing with her center of power. But then she'd focus her emotions and channel all of pain or fear or anger and it would create an even stronger force within her.

Sam just needs to find his center and have his emotions fuel his fight.

Sam is a very emotional guy, so maybe that's what makes him off his game because we all know he can kick a** But then, Dean is much better at using his emotions in a fight guess that's how they differ which isn't always a bad thing

That would explain why he was so badass in S6 with the soullessness. His emotions weren't interfering with his abilities.
