^ Yep, that made total sense. I don't like to keep throwing in the John bashing but I think he had a lot to do with why Dean bottle everything up. But because Dean practically raised Sam all on his own, Sam didn't have that restrictive presence around him all the time.

I agree. And with me you can bash John all you want. I totally blame him for pretty nuch everything.

But seriously, he messed them both up in so many ways it isn't even funny and I think that without Dean Sam wouldn't even have survived.!

I actually read a great fic about that onece. How Jess realizes Dean is only a part of Sam's imagination, a protector he made up to survive John's cruel parenting.

I don't think I like that sound of that fic! But Sam certainly wouldn't have survived without Dean. If Dean hadn't of been around then John wouldn't have been able to cope with Sammy on his own. And Sam wouldn't be the same Sammy we have now.

I think John would have broken him completely!

And it is a really sad fic, but good anyway, and that didn't make any sense

I agree, and I think Sam would be much darker then we think if he only had John, he'd be much more harder and darker then Dean ever was.

Absolutely. I don't think, Sam's tender soul had survived without Dean's care.

Sam's darkness scares me a lot too. The way all the warmth drained from him in mystery spot freaked me out big time!

Dean went scary dark after losing Dad but nothing like Sam. He was barely human!

Which I think is a very interesting idea, and I kinda love how with Dean he hunts and protects because he wants to, it's his job and he enjoys doing it but with Sam, even after all this time, I think it's still revenge motivated, there is always something that pushes him that extra inch, understandably so, I mean my brother dies a million different deaths I'm going to go a bit hard and vengeful, but still, you know? I'm really interesested in seeing what kind of Sammy we have when S4 starts.

I'm very curious too. It's a scary thought thinking of Sammy all on his own for such a long time. I just can't imagine Sam without Dean or Dean without Sam.

Its so hard to imagine them without each other even for just one episode. I am really curious to see how Sam is without Dean but I'm scared he will be too dark without him

I'm actually hoping while Dean is away, Sam and Bobby start butting heads.

I just think it would be a nice twist, like maybe Sam does start going a little dark or a little reckless, and Bobby can't harness him in, and does't approve of how Sam is going about things. I don't want a 'evil' Sammy but I wouldn't mind a reckless one.

Like he's keeping up the "gotta change in to you" think he told Dean? Yeah.. could be interesting.

And reckless is OK.

Just not emotinal dead.
