Jared's a smart guy, he was a Presidential Scholars Program candidate in his senior year of high school.

"Watch it before you let Gilmore Girl's Jared Padalecki behind the wheel. On his first day of driver's ed, he thought he was on a one-way street and started to drive on the left side of the road!" - (Dec/Jan '03/'04 issue of Teen People)

Jared's so humble that the first time fans noticed him for his portrayal of Dean, he thought they were staring at him because he had something in his teeth.

He was embarrassed that TVGuide misquoted him when they caught him joking to co-star Alexis Bledel, telling her "The dork store called and they're out of you," to make her laugh between shots.

Jared had to wear hair extensions for the season 5 premiere because his hair was cut since the season 4 finale

During the filming of House of Wax, Jared roomed with Chad Michael Murray and this is what Chad had to say: "Jared Padalecki, my roommate [during the House of Wax shoot], locked himself out of the building and kept calling the house at 4 A.M. I'd buzz him in and then five minutes later he would be like, 'I decided not to come in. I was on the phone.' The fourth time he did it I go, 'That's it!'"
