I found this on imdb for everyone that was wondering what happened to Jared's wrist and why he was wearing that brace this is why the poor baby had to have surgery

Ok guys, I got back from set of the fifth episode called Simon Said. It was such a fun experience. My mom's friend knows one of the crew members and he led us around the set. He even gave me a little script that the crew gets.

Onto the fun stuff:
- walking by the trailers, I saw Jared and was like "omg!" we got closer and i realized it was jared's stunt double Mike. I felt stupid but we all laughed at it. They look so much alike! We talked about working as a stunt double.
- Mike went into the hair and makeup trailer where Jared was. I could see inside the window but I only saw a bunch of wigs.
- Then Jared came out and walked towards us. Let me just say, Jared is such a nice guy! He could of stayed in the trailer and not came out. So he came over and introduced himself. He's such a gentlemen! We shook his hand. I wasnt even going to try to get a hug but my mom said i was such a big fan so he decided lets hug. I was like "ok" Man, he is soooo tall. I got him to sign my script. I just happened to mention it was my birthday next thursday. He was like happy early birthday. He had to head down to set to check on something and left. Once he was out of earshot, I was giggling like crazy. Jared just hugged me!
- For those who are wondering, Jared had to get surgery on his hand on tuesday. (remember the bar fight) I guess his hand didnt heal properly. Thats why he was wearing a cast at the Teen Choice Award. In fact, I saw on the script he had a doctors appointment this morning. They had to write into the show a hand injury for Sam. Therefore, the stunt double had to wear a fake cast. So the autograph was a bit messy. He wrote "Taylor. All my love. Jared" (im female)
- I didnt see Jensen. He was probably sleeping cause he call on set wasnt till 2 am!
- So we headed back up to the set. Jared was up there talking to the director/some other crew. He walked by us to head back to the trailers. He said "hi" as he walked by and patted my mom on the shoulder.
- we watched the stunt doubles rehearse a scene. Jared stunt double had to break a car window. when they stopped, he looked over at us and waved. i told his good job. Jared came back to set. He started rehearsing the scene where the broken window left off. we watched for awhile and left. it was going to take a few hours to shoot that scene.
- the Impala was taken away to the studio so i didnt get to see it. i was dissappointed.

Im not going to say any spoilers. It should be an exciting episode. It airs in October. The scene takes place at an old dam. Lets just say the evil guy, Webber, is horrible.
