Meg kidnaps Sam and Dean and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley is hiding. Sam makes her a deal – they will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam's soul back. Castiel joins the fight but finds it difficult to work with Meg. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Brett Matthews with story by Brett Matthews & Jenny Klein

I didn´t read your comments because I can´t stay to long on my PC because I still suffering from an wisdom-teeth-operation. So sorry if I repeat anything!

The beginning when Crowley tortured himself – I wasn´t sure from the start which one was the right one – and Mark did a terrific job.

I didn´t like how Sam spoke with Castiel – even if it was played perfectly by both of them.

The conversation between Dean and Cas about Sams soul was so sad. I get what Cas was trying to do – protect the brother he can protect – but it isn´t right to let Sam live without a soul. There will always be a part which is missing. And I am with Dean here that we will (hopefully) deal with the consequences when there are in front of them.

Sam scared me when he was laughing in Meg´s face when she pretended to kill Dean. OMG
Jared is playing it so perfectly.

I really believed the grandfather when he showed up by Dean, Sam and Cas. And I was so surprised when he had doublecross them.

Dean threatening Samuel was great and so well played by Jensen – I am so looking forward to the payback!!!

I like that Meg held her end of the deal and waited till Sam and Dean got the needed information from Crowley. And then the showdown between Cas and Crowley – YEAH!!!!
I hope he is gone for good.

When Sam bite himself – at first – I thought that maybe he was trying to drink demonblood to get stronger – now that I have written it down, I know it doesn´t make much sense – but I like the real reason and it was sooo clever from Sam.

Cas watching a porno was hilarious!!!

The ending was again pretty sad – but I can understand that Sam doesn´t want his soul back.
If I were in his shoes I wouldn´t want it back, too. Now he feels nothing (and he is thinking that he is fine) and with a soul there is only suffering in the near future. So who knows what will happen when he gets it back. So I can´t blame him for not wanting it back.

All actors were great and the pacing of this episode was right for me. So I just say it was great!!!

I missed it lastnight because of work. So, I'm going to have to watch it on Monday like I do with Dexter.

Sunny I pretty much agree with everything you said.

The whole Crowley torture thing was so confusing for me. Mark was amazing in that scene and in the whole episode he is just such a great actor, sad to see him go because he was an awesome villian. I really didn't think that they would kill him off this soon so maybe we haven't seen the last of him.

The Dean/Cas conversation broke my heart, Sam getting his soul back is so much worse then we thought. I just assumed he would be down on himself for everything that happened since he lost his soul but I never even thought about what is happening to his soul down there. With Lucifier down there with Sam's soul for his "entertainment" it scares me to think of Sam getting his soul back. I completely understand Sam's hesitation with getting his soul back now, it could kill him and I really don't want them to take that risk. I don't see why Dean is so quick to make that decision when he's always done everything to protect Sam and now to throw his life away just cause of the soul. It doesn't make sense to me. I would rather have Sam without a soul then not have Sam at all.

Samuel, I knew it was all about Mary for him. It was the only thing that would make sense that Crowley could hold over Samuel's head. I hate that he betrayed the boys in the end but I expected it, I just have no faith in that guy. I loved what Dean said to him and I can't wait to see the revenge on that.

Sunny I thought the same thing about Sam biting himself. I was so confused I didn't get it at all, but I was so surprised when he made the devil's trap, that was awesome.

I was glad that Meg didn't betray them and let them get the info out of Crowley before she tried to kill him and the fact that she didn't die there makes me think that she will definitely be back later.

I don´t judge you and you have a right of your own opinion. But I can´t understand how you can let Sams soul suffer in hell for eternity. Every good part of him and everything that makes Sam to Sam is down there in the pit and is suffering with no end.
And this soulless thing in Sams meat suit couldn´t be more far away from Sam or Sammy then it is ever possible.
By wanting to rescue his soul or bring it back - Dean is protecting Sam. For me this Soulless thing isn´t Sam and for Dean he isn´t, too.
In the WTLB Dean told Bobby that he will not give Sam demonblood. And if it kills him, at least he dies human.
And this is exact the same thing for me.
This Soulless thing isn´t really human. He doesn´t care for anything (only if he needs something from that someone), He is purely running on logic and mind. He has nothing which made Sam so great and because of that he isn´t really Sam at all.
The poor soul which gets tortured in hell is the real Sam. And to let it suffer forever is more brutal and more careless then everything which could happen when Sams body and soul will be united.
Maybe he will die - but at least he dies human - and I could live better with this, then to know that his poor soul, the true escence of Sammy, will be tortured forever in hell.
I hope you get my point??? And can understand what I am trying to say?

So again for me Dean is doing exactly that - what you blame him not to do.
He protects his Sammy with all his heart and soul.

I do get what you are trying to say. I guess I wasnt' really thinking of Sam's soul being tortured down there all my focus on was what Cas and Crowley said would happen if they tried to put that soul back in Sam. It could kill him and I get Dean wanting him to at least die human but I guess Im not like that because I'd rather have Sam around. I just don't want to risk his life like that. Im really hoping there is a way they can figure out how to get his soul back without physically damaging Sammy in the process.
