This reminds me Jacob Black honestly. All Alpha and werewolves stuff. I actually believe TVD and SPN can go make an episode where they meet up. Seems like they're running the same plots. Ah, CW.

This was an ok Episode for me. The case was not bad but they had better.
I don´t know what really is to write about this episode because for me it was just business as usual.
Only the last scene – the talk between Dean and Sam – broke my heart.
I don´t want this anymore!!!! I love the old Sammy and I want and need him back so desperately. Seeing him so carefree/cold about the people around him and DEAN makes me so saaaaad. But at least I was glad that we finally got some inside look into Sams state of mind, even if I don´t like the outcome.

My problem with the episode - the whole 'young mom with a young son & drunk loser boyfriend' theme being recycled. I personally think it would have been more interesting if it had been an older couple (I'm talking 78+) who had owned the dog, & the skinwalker wished he was their son.

There was this one part that really got to me where Sam was going to shoot the skinwalker at night. I loved how the scene took is time, was very quiet, & how it was lit. I loved the look on Jared's face too - bold & subtle at the same time. Any other show would have omitted this entire part, & gone straight to the chase sequence.

I feel like an idiot saying that I'm really worried about Sam. He's not even a real person, just an imaginary character. So I'm going to phrase it this way - I'm worried that the writers will have Sam kill himself after they have him get his soul back.

Im with sunny this episode was just ok for me.

Im so tired of hearing Dean yell at Sam that he's not his brother! Ok we get we know that he's different and he's not the same Sam. But everytime Dean brings it up its like he's blaming Sam and its not Sam's fault.


The talk at the end broke my heart. I want Sam back so much and I think you are right LC, maybe not kill himself but he's gonna be non functional once he gets his soul back. I hate it because I know that they are going to drag this out all season and I just want my Sammy back. I don't want someone who looks and talks like him

This all goes back to the 'blame the victim' mentality that Dean has. I love Dean, but this is his Achilles heel. Sam has really tried so hard to be good & do good in spite of all the horrific bs that has been hurled onto him - being given demon blood as a baby, his whole life being manipulated by demons, demonic posession, demon blood addiction, Satanic possession, soul & conscience removal. Of course, Sam has done some very horrible things, & will have to answer for his crimes. But we forget about Dean's problems, flaws, & crimes. However, in Dean's eyes, Sam is still 'bad' & 'flawed' & will be going to hell (or back to hell). I personally don't think Dean has dealt with his time in hell. I also don't think Dean ever really got to know Sam as a person. (I don't think anyone knows Sam.) He only thinks of Sam in his relationship to him, his brother. He doesn't say, 'I want Sam back' he says 'I want my brother back'. That's pretty damn selfish. He might as well be saying 'I want my old toy cars back'. & on the flipside, I don't think 'old' Sam (whoever he was/is) would have been friends with someone like Dean. I really think he was only there because Dean was his brother. They need to start relating to each other as people. This is the only way this entire thing is going to be fixed between them.

I have more thoughts on this, but I'll post them later.

I hope that he will be non functional when he finally get his soul back - hopefully pretty soon - because Jared would rock these scenes!!!
I would love to see broken Sam and that they really deal with his time in hell over more then one episode. We got cheated with Deans PTSD and I just keep my hope up that it will not happen again with Sam.

Sure thing I want my Sammy back more then anything but I want to see him suffering from his time in hell, too.

Okay I saw it and the first thing I thought about is Dean gets whinier and whinier as time pass by. He whines, but he never tries to understand. I agree about the difference between wanting his brother and wanting Sam. It's getting tiring, Dean.

The guy has no soul, no emotion - nothing. Don't expect him to care AT ALL. He has none to offer. It wasn't his fault that he came back without his soul. He asked for help but so far he got nothing but a doubtful brother, and whiny as I may add. Where's the support in that?



As I've posted on my twitter - I'm half pissed at Dean right now.
