I think Jared did a FANTASTIC job tonight! he was perfect, the emotion, when he finally saw Dean again, just wow!!

as for Sammy? All my Sammy issues are coming back. I hate that he's working with Ruby, I hate even more that he's lying to Dean so effortlessly, to word it like he did, and just flat out lie.

On the Dean side? LOVING that storyline, looks like it's good vs evil, just wich side is which Winchester going to land on?

Bee I agree. I don't have Sammy issues but I still think its wrong what he's doing. I got so mad when I saw him using his power and that he was still with Ruby after he had told Dean that he would never do it because it was his dying wish. It was to easy for him to lie to Dean and I hate that

Sammy's pretty lost right now. I'm not sure when Dean or Bobby will realize it, but the boy is in bad shape. Dean died and came back and he couldn't do anything about anything, even with how powerful he's becoming. He's guilt ridden and sort of closed off.

Ya I can see that Sammy is lost and that he wanted to be the one to save Dean. You could tell he was disappointed in himself when he told Dean that he wasn't the one to save him. But still to lie to Dean and to use his powers is just wrong. He knows how much Dean didn't want Sammy to give into that yet he still did and then he lied about it.

I think we became so used to the Sammy all dependent on Dean. Now, we're seeing a different Sammy and we're not liking it. I do understand him though, as much as I don't want him lying to Dean, I do understand him.

He was lost when Dean died (he is still right now

), he didn't know what to do. No demon would deal with him, there's basically nothing he could do to bring his brother back. It'll be too painful for him (and Bobby as well) if they would go together and find out the ways. As far as I know my Sammy, he's only dependent on Dean and Dean was gone he wanted to do it alone. To grieve alone - to be alone!

Then there's someone he had believed in (somehow) before and had faith in him - Ruby. But then as far as I can remember all Ruby wanted Sammy to do was to follow his 'supposed' calling. She, as Sammy might think, knew more about demons than they do since she's a demon herself. So when she probably showed up and offered assistance, he took it. Assistance as in leading the pack who will fight against Lilith's army. Because remember at that time, Sam was hopeless, he probably thought that if he can't save Dean then he might as well have his revenge by learning how to fight and kill them.

Then he found out Dean is back and they have no idea how he was saved. He had apprehensions and also was frustrated that it wasn't him who saved his brother. Then there's this practice and stuff with Ruby. Dean still have this problem that he would have to unshackle - how was he saved? Then probably Sammy thought he'd deal with Ruby for now since Dean had a lot to think about. I don't think he'll go days or weeks without telling Dean about it. Or maybe sooner or later Dean will also find it out, they knew each other too well.

That goes back to my first thought - we're not so used to Sam not depending much on Dean. This time he's making decisions by himself and not going with it through Dean first. Can be a bad idea but heck how would you make a broken man deal with pain and sorrow for four months? Maybe it was Sammy's way to deal with pain - enlist himself to fight against bad demons while trying to find ways to save Dean.

I am still a Sammy girl - no issues here. I liked the story and where it can lead. I see a promising plot. Although, I didn't like the new Ruby, I am still for Katie.

Great post, Gay! I agree. I'm sad with what's happening to him, but I'm excited for what it will bring to the show too. I've always been a "Sammy girl" and that's not about to change. He was the reason I started watching, and I just love the way he sees and deals with the world.

Right now, he's not doing so well, but like you guys have said, the way he talked about not being the one he brought Dean back was with deep pain and guilt. He's about to go on a journey he can't really control and Ruby's whispering in his ear is going to be hard to turn off. He's gotten used to her.

I miss Katie like crazy! Like Sam with Ruby, I got used to Katie and I want her back. It's not going to happen, though. Ruby's not like the YED that could jump from body to body and still feel like the same character.

totally agree with U and Gay. we all have to understand that Sammy is Dean's brother and when Dean died what u'll think Sam will feel. what he'll do? it doen't take a genius to figure out that Sam will be lost. Sam is entitled for his own decision and if that is he's decision to conceal to Dean that he is working with Ruby, then let's give him a break. i know Sam has his own reasons and i know those reasons is for the safety and good for both him and Dean or maybe more for Dean. we all know that Sam will do anything at any cost for Dean's life and vice versa. I'm a Dean's girl but i do get where Sam is right now, so let's just give Sam a break. take a look also in Sam's POV see it in both not just in Dean's.

Ya I totally agree with you Gay. It makes sense that Sammy was lost espically after he tried to make deals and no demons would deal with him. He had come to terms that he was never gonna get his brother back so it made sense to him to work with Ruby to fight against Lilith's army because that was the only way he could think of to avenge Dean. No matter how lost Sammy is its not like him to just give up on fighting demons. And with Ruby there telling him about his "destiny" and he realized he could kill demons a lot easier and get to Lilith easier it seems like an easy decision for him to do it. But it will be really interesting to see how Dean reacts to all of this

Aw, thanks girls. I thought I was really alone in understanding Sammy. I am just disappointed with all these post that always blame Sam of not telling Dean asap. Give the boy a chance, didn't he tell Ruby that he'll tell Dean given a chance?

You are not alone Gay. I will always be a Sammy girl. Sometimes he does things that make us mad but there is usually a good reason behind it.

Dude, exactly. I just hate it that people just jump into conclusion so quickly without giving him a chance.

Anyway, I'm interested in seeing more of Sam exploring his psychic abilities. We still have a lot of things to learn about it. Azazel had picked Sam to be leading his pack and then the mystery with his mum. If Sam will be the leader of the darkside and Dean the Good Ones. How in the world can Kripke let the boys out of this? Well, I'm thinking here the 'blood is thicker than water' stuff will come in.

That's a great questions, Gay! I think the battle between them will be more personal, otherwise, there's no way they both survive a battle between good and evil. One of them has to cave in before a full war begins.
