Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) take a break from their usual gig to star in a gritty reality show called "Ghostfacers" which chronicles the pursuit of the paranormal. Ed Zeddmore (guest star A. J. Buckley) and Harry Spengler (guest star Travis Wester) have created a radically different and sometimes violent show full of profanity that takes them to the Morton Mansion, an abandoned estate which becomes one of the most haunted places in America one night each year.

However, as their team begins to get picked off in grisly manners not fit for television, they realize they are in over their heads.

Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

They were suppose to film this whole episode wth handhelds, it should be an interesting watch.

That's where I've seen him before!

It's great that they've brought those two guys back, they cracked me up in hell house.

They like bringing back all the old guest stars this season and killing them off. I hope they don't kill off Ed and Harry.

Oh yes, I'm a CSI:NY addict.

I had love Hell House and it's good to know that they are back. It's also good to know what happened to them after that episode (Dean has a lot of explaining to do

)

I think this will be a breather from all the angsty/dark episodes we had prior to this one. Hmmm... are they trying to make us happy before the cliffhanger?

They always like to throw in a lighter episode right before they kill us with some major bomb!

The party hat was hilarious.

I found the episode kind of boring, but there were a few laughs. By the way, didn't Jared/Sam look all of 10 years the last 5 minutes of the episode?

I just kept thinking, "but he looks so young!"

I noticed that.

and his eyes were so blue.

Actually the last 5 minutes reminded me a lot of how he looked in WIAWSNB for some reason.

I really enjoyed the episode, it was so much fun! Nothing serious at all about it, just some good laughs and great lines.

(my new phrase is half awesome!)

Not a lot of Sam but he had great moments, like his protectiveness over Dean, and his Ew moment!

I also really enjoyed chair smashing Sammy.

jared was great in the episode as usual...it was hyterical!!!! i loved the party hat...he looked so cute!!!!
