Dead in the water is such a creepy episode. I love watching it. Like you guys are discussing, the brother chemistry was insane. I can't believe they sparked like that from the Pilot. This episode has so many funny moments between them, but also the sad unspoken moment when Dean is talking about Mary to Lucas and Sam looks on and has this expression like, "Aw, Dean."

It's so great.

Amy Acker is great here as she always is.

Their chemistry is second to none. Even on the episodes where the story isn't as good (I don't mean Dead in the Water, as I like this one), I don't care, as long as there's plenty of interplay between Sam and Dean.

Amy was awesome. I'm not sure what else she's been in, but I was really impressed with her in this.

This is one of my favourite Sam episodes. I loved the way he played the 'Meg demon', at first pretending to Dean that he was still just Sam. When he begged Dean to kill him, oh, gawd, I was in tears. Also, later, the way he got all the demon's mannerisms and everything was just astonishing. I could just imagine the demon in Meg behaving the same way. The scenes with Jo were so uncomfortable to watch, too, and when he smashed her head against the bar, it still gets me! He was so convincing and scary, just awesome.

This episode killed me too much!

Jared totally rocked the house. he was FANTASTIC playing the evil!Meg. The mannerisms and the hotness combined, just made me in awe.

I also do love how the scenes were executed. Starting from Dean finding Sam with all the blood. The surveillance video and how Dean wanted to just smash everything up. I love protective!Dean.

oh and the wouldn't mess up this fine packaging was the best quote ever.

Manhandling Jo was also great.

All I remember after watching BUABS was me going like this

for hours after the episode had ended.

That episode rocked it and JP playing evil like that was disturbing and incredibly effective. The man is a wonderful performer. What he did with Nicky's mannerisms was a thing of beauty.
